So it's been ages since I've been on here but it crossed my mind today so I decided to pop in.

*feels all nostalgic*

Sometimes I really miss this place. I have so many good memories of LJ and the friends I made here.

Yeah, I miss it.

Well it's been nearly 24 hours since I watched Posey's interview and I'm still angry and upset about it.

Here’s the thing:

I don’t mind that Posey isn’t into Sterek. I DO mind him being offensive about those who are.

Calling it “Weird, twisted and bizarre" is essentially saying that those who ship it are equally so. That’s both offensive and deeply hurtful.

Sterek may not be important to him but it matters a lot to a large portion of the Teen Wolf fanbase. It’s inspired people and been the source for so many incredible pieces of fan art and fanfic. Just because you’re not passionate about something, doesn’t give you the right to be nasty about it.

Oh and by the way, Sterek is what introduced me to Teen Wolf. It’s what got me interested in the show & the characters.

If any fan is into Teen Wolf mostly for the Sterek stuff then you know what Posey? That’s okay. People get into and watch a show for many different reasons and that’s okay too. There’s no wrong reason to want be involved in the Teen Wolf world.

One has to wonder whether he would have made those comments about Sterek if it were a heterosexual pairing, instead of a same-sex one.

*sigh*

I just feel so hurt and disappointed.

I don't know how I'm gonna get past this to be honest. Maybe it's time for me to take a step back from the Teen Wolf fandom.

Utterly devastated. Have spent most of the day in shock or crying. He was only 6 months older than me. The world has lost a wonderful, talented guy.

Look what arrived today:

Star Trek Bracelet photo Photo0230_zpsaafec8f8.jpg

Scientific Bracelet photo Photo0235_zpsdc4788bb.jpg

I ordered it from a shop on Etsy, after I saw them on Tumblr. :-)

They come in 3 different colours - Blue (representing the Scientific part of Starfleet AKA Spock), Yellow (representing the Command part of Starfleet AKA Kirk) and Red (representing Engineering AKA Scotty).

I really like it because a) it's slightly different and b) it's a small way to represent my love of Star Trek. :-)

P.S. I think I'm gonna order the Yellow one too.

I went to see 'Man Of Steel' this afternoon. Really enjoyed it, although the fight sequence at the end went on way too long.

Gotta say that Henry Cavill makes a great Superman and I'm looking forward to seeing more of his interpretation in the already planned Sequel.

Kudos also has to go to Russell Crowe, who was really good as Jor-El.

It was fun to see the quick little nods to Lex Luther and Bruce Wayne in the movie. Nice little reminders of the other characters that exist out there in the wider DC universe. :-)

I think that above all else, 'Man Of Steel' has reaffirmed my love for Superman and his story. He has been, and always shall be, one of my favourite superheroes.

So in conclusion, whilst it wasn't perfect, 'Man Of Steel' is overall a promising start to what will hopefully be another franchise of great Superhero movies.
